FIELDS OF APLICATIONS
Agrometeorological stations, developed by Gamma Technical Co. are able to provide data in fields of viticulture, fruit production, plant protection and mechanical cultivation that enables professionals to predict the expected crop damage and help in agricultural work planning and scheduling. Sensors are installed directly in the plantations and transmit the measured data to the data collector digitally, from which the data can be queried either locally or remotely by a modem (with GSM, landline or GPRS technology).
For the data collection a computer and corresponding softwares are necessary, thus the current data can be queried online on a daily basis without visiting the plantation personally. It is possible to gather and store periodic, weekly, monthly and annual trends as well. The data can be viewed and examined through special programs installed either on PC or Pocket PC. The programs include the automatically generated plant protection algorithms, so when accessing online, the AGROWeb Server, apart from being capable of obtaining and processing the data received simultaneously from more stations, is also able to distribute the data to the local network or publish them on the Internet.
If required, the data collection is made automatically, and the customer receives only the overall data by e-mail or SMS. System management, consulting and software upgrades are also available.
